Dear Branford Compassion Club Friend,

BCC hasn’t stopped rescuing!

We continue to see the outcomes of not spaying/neutering cats and letting them outdoors to face injury. Dempsey (pictured below) was an un-neutered male that got into a fight and had we not trapped/rescued him, he surely would have died a horrible death, due to infection. Instead, he is healing and we will find him a loving home!

As of today, we have: 62 kittens in foster care, 6 adult cats in foster care, and 79 cats in our shelter, for a total of 147 cats/kittens.

Our vet bills continue to grow, due to the high number of cats with critical health issues. At the close of June, we had already used 76% of our budgeted veterinarian dollars.

Branford Compassion Club is celebrating its 25^th Anniversary, and the organization continues to provide vital and lifesaving services to cats and kittens in need, but BCC can’t continue to do this without a major increase in sustainable support.
