Finding help for your furry friends shouldn’t be stressful. Below are some Connecticut-based organizations that offer pet food support and other compassionate services for animals and their families.
The CT Humane Society also has a pet food pantry with several locations across CT. Additionally, 211 offers a search feature for food pantries in CT. Please contact your local food pantry to ensure pet food is in stock.
If you have a cat on a prescription diet, please contact your local animal shelters (including BCC). Although shelter cats do sometimes need prescription food, there is sometimes a surplus for specific diets. Please email bccrescue@gmail.com to check.
